Aloha Burgau Guesthouse

Our stay was a really really nice experience. Planned to see Burgau major attractions and it was good home base for visiting all of them. Affable staff explained where we were staying. The location in a fairly nice area was absolutely perfect and magnificent.

Breakfast, it was very poor, could be better.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the friendly and helpful owners, Nuno and Rita. They provided great tips and even booked activities for us like fishing and dolphin watching. the house is well-kept and clean, with a comfortable shared bathroom and a spacious bedroom with a sturdy mattress. the English bar next door added to the lively atmosphere, playing live music on Saturday nights. the house is within walking distance to the beach and restaurants, just make sure to make a reservation in advance. We also appreciated the use of the family kitchen and the secluded terrace in the living room.

Felt like being home, no complaints at all.

We also enjoyed the company of Fiji, their friendly Labrador. A short walk from the guesthouse led us to the beautiful narrow streets of the town, lined with delightful restaurants and without the crowds typical of other tourist destinations.

Perfect location for exploring the beautiful surrounding area with breathtaking views. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating, making the stay really comfortable. I especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which was really delicious.
